Trinity Children’s Centre is an integrated early childhood development centre and independent primary school in Mitchell’s Plain where we strive to help children overcome adversity and become heroes.
Our children enjoy thoughtful, innovative education that aims for transformed lives, not just good test scores.
In addition, children receive cooked meals, individual attention in small classes and an opportunity to experience safety and belonging.
We are registered with the Western Cape Education Department as an independent school. While we have some things in common with government schools, there are also big differences. As a parent, it is important to understand the differences when choosing a school for your child. It is also important to understand that we are not equipped to provide remedial or special needs education.
In 2021 we will offer Grade RR (age 4-5), Grade R (age 5-6), and Grades 1-7. We only have one class per grade and 15 children per class. Because of our small size, we can only accept a very small number of new students per year.
How to apply
Normally, interested families would collect an application pack from the school. Unfortunately, the COVID-19 pandemic has severely disrupted the entire school system. At this stage we do not know what to expect over the next few months, so we have placed all applications / admissions on hold until further notice. Once we have more clarity on the way forward we will determine whether we have capacity to take new students.
