Trinity Children’s Centre is an integrated early childhood development centre and independent primary school in Mitchell’s Plain where we strive to help children overcome adversity and become heroes.
Our children enjoy thoughtful, innovative education that aims for transformed lives, not just good test scores.
In addition, children receive cooked meals, individual attention in small classes and an opportunity to experience safety and belonging.
We are registered with the Western Cape Education Department as an independent school. While we have some things in common with government schools, there are also big differences. As a parent, it is important to understand the differences when choosing a school for your child. It is also important to understand that we are not equipped to provide remedial or special needs education.
We currently offer Grade RR (age 4-5), Grade R (age 5-6), and Grades 1-7. We only have one class per grade and 15 children per class. Because of our small size, we can only accept a very small number of new students per year. Applying does not guarantee that you will receive an interview or that you will be offered a place in the school. There is high demand throughout the educational system. We strongly recommend applying to multiple schools and applying early to give your child the best set of options.
Take note that although our enrolment is open to anyone, Trinity Children’s Centre is a Christian school operating on Christian principles. Click here to see our statement of faith.
