TCC Mini-Olympics: Many of us look forward to (and some of us may even train towards) the summer or winter Olympic Games, but do you know about the Spring Olympic Games? Every October, Trinity Children’s Centre hosts the Spring mini-Olympic Games! All the children trained hard for their events, including practicing to put on fancy-dress at high speed and negotiating hessian sacks. The orange team and the blue team, dressed in their colours and complete with banners and pom poms, came marching out onto the field to the cheering of parents, grannies, aunties, uncles, cousins, siblings and even random passersby! Events on the day included water-balloon toss, a dress-up relay, a sack race, stilt walking and running events. The children trained so hard and competed so well that they all won gold (chocolate) medals at the medal ceremony!

Building new classrooms: After much ado, our plans to build three new classrooms have finally been approved. Work is well underway, and despite the noise and dust we are excited by the progress. Please pray with us that the classrooms will be done by the end of the year, so that we can start the new year in our new classrooms.
Building these classrooms is one part of a much bigger plan to develop a campus for Trinity Children’s Centre and Trinity Church. If you have construction- or property-related expertise that you would like to contribute, please get in touch with us.
